Beyond the classroom
Come to play—or simply listen.
Community at GJA is not another study programme. It is the public life of the Academy: places to meet musicians, try a tune, hear new work, learn from visiting artists and become part of Goa’s wider music network. Students, working musicians and curious listeners are all welcome.

GJA creates stage time for emerging and established artists. Student showcases, faculty sets and visiting performances let musicians present work, test new material and connect with a listening audience.

Join our jams
Bring a tune, meet the house band and learn through playing with other people. Published jam dates appear in Events; participating musicians can email their song list to info@goajazzacademy.com before the session.

Workshops and chats
Short, expert-led sessions open up a specific technique, practice or musical idea. Workshops, demonstrations and artist conversations are announced individually, so people can join without enrolling in a long programme.
